Director (R&D) visits RRCAT, Indore to review the ongoing collaborative projects
Dr Alok Sharma, Director (R&D), recently visited the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, to review the ongoing collaborate ve projects and to discuss potent al future projects in the energy domain. During the interact on with Mr Unmesh D Malshe, Director, RRCAT, Dr Sharma discussed effect ve methodologies for project execute on at the centre through their incubate on center. RRCAT is a unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, engaged in R&D in nonnuclear front-line research areas of Lasers, Part cle Accelerators & related technologies. Director (R&D) took a detailed review of the ongoing project on the Indigenous Development of Receiver Tubes for Parabolic Trough Type Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Plants. These tubes shall be developed at the centre in consultant on with IndianOil for rigorous testing and validate on before subsequent commercialisate on. He also visited their facilities and examined the progress of the ongoing projects. During the visit, Dr Sharma was accompanied by Mr Ravi P Gupta, GM (RE), R&D and other senior officials of R&D and the Madhya Pradesh State Office.
