Director (Marketing) interacts with Trivandrum-based Officers

Mr V Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), recently visited Thiruvananthapuram and engaged with officers from the Trivandrum Division Office (DO) and other Trivandrun-based officers, in the presence of Ms Geetika Verma, CGM & SH, Kerala State Office (KeSO). The interaction focused on strategic initiatives to strengthen IndianOil’s presence in the region and emphasised achieving excellence in customer service and operational efficiency. During the interaction, Mr V Satish Kumar urged the IOCians to understand the oil industry’s market dynamics in their respective sales areas. He encouraged them to develop a robust action plan aimed at commissioning more retail outlets, particularly in D1 and D2 category markets, to secure additional sales volumes. Recognising the importance of technological integration, Mr V Satish Kumar highlighted the need for a comprehensive root cause analysis wherever retail outlet automation was not functioning optimally. “Automation must ensure the highest customer service standards,” he emphasised. Mr V Satish Kumar further motivated the team to embrace the spirit of collaboration under the recent initiative of ‘One Team, One Goal’. He called upon the field force to actively generate leads and drive sales materialisation. Emphasising customer-centricity, Mr V Satish Kumar advised the officers to establish regular interactions with customers and collect feedback. He stressed that this proactive approach would not only help achieve superior service standards but also bolster customer retention and loyalty. Earlier, Mr N Amaljith, DRSH, Trivandrum DO, delivered a brief presentation on the DO’s performance.
